FriendRex is committed to transparency. We maintain this changelog to clearly explain how our Privacy Policy evolves over time. If we make material changes (marked as MAJOR), we will notify you within the app or via email.

v1.6 — 2026-09-30 MINOR

Free users in our apps now also see a home-feed banner ad and an occasional, capped Reels video ad (Google AdMob), in addition to optional rewarded ads. Plus and Pro members remain ad-free.
Disclosed directly sold, clearly labeled "Sponsored" placements on the home feed.
Added a legal-bases table for EEA/UK users, a new International Data Transfers section, and the right to complain to a data protection authority.

v1.5 — 2026-09-29 MAJOR

Disclosed optional rewarded ads (Google AdMob) for free users on iOS and Android, including App Tracking Transparency, Google consent, and non-personalized ads for users under 18.
Added Google AdMob to the third-party services and sub-processor lists.
Disclosed that rewarded ads may be personalized for adults (a California "share"), with opt-out via Settings, the Do Not Sell or Share page, or Global Privacy Control. We still never sell personal information.
